Dandelion Vinegar

My body has been craving Dandelion Root vinegar lately, and so it shall be made! Scroll to the bottom for the recipe we use.

It’s now Spring time, and it’s governed by the Wood Element. Dandelion Root has a Masculine energy, governed by the Element of Air, and associated with Jupiter.

The liver is the yin organ of the Wood Element, Gallbladder is the yang. We honour each season and their elements as it comes externally and more importantly internally. Dandelion root is full of Vitamins: A, B, C, & D and Minerals: Potassium, Calcium, Sodium, Phosphorus, Iron.

The action of Taraxacum stimulates the liver and kidney function. The bitter properties help us with digestive issues. *read carefully with the wording below*

It is a known diuretic, meaning it promotes urine flow, which helps reduce water retention and lower blood pressure. And as if all of this wasn’t enough, dandelion root promotes insulin excretion, which helps lower blood sugar levels, and also cleanses excess fats from the liver, which helps to lower cholesterol.
It has prebiotics which is a plant fibre (not probiotics!) that supports healthy gut flora and eases constipation.

Use in dream pillows & sachets for sleep protection. Bury in northwest side of house to draw good luck! Use in divination, wishes, and connecting with spirits (when connecting with spirits please do this with a trained or experienced practitioner that knows what they’re doing, or they can teach you).

Dandelion blessings to you all!
